Miss World 2009 Part 4 : Second Leaderboard
Due to the recent announcement of Miss World having Top 20 semifinalists and the tie result of Talent fast track, our "Pantheon of Beauty" this week sees a bit of change with the addition of Eris tier and more contestants (21 of them) included in the hot list. We suspect (and hope) the tie result may cause one more contestant to make the cut, just like the Asia Pacific tie in 2006 and Beauty with a Purpose tie in 2007. Therefore our Pantheon includes not only 20 but the lucky number 21 in the list.
However, despite all this changes, one thing remain the same. Mexico still leads the Pantheon as the Goddess of Beauty, Aphrodite. She is followed closely by Athena's France and South Africa. Barbados and Ukraine levitate into higher tier while Puerto Rico and Slovakia are falling into lower tier.
Stay tune for the third Leaderboard next week to see if Mexico is still able to retain her precious Golden Apple in our hot list!

Miss International 2009 Part 2 : First Leaderboard
"Beauty is a sweet thing" and with that motto in our mind, we proudly present the first Leaderboard for Miss International 2009. The girls who make our list here are indeed "sweet delicacies" whose sweetness has pierced our heart. Some of them, however, are sweeter than the other. Therefore we classify these girls into 3 tier of sweetness ... sweet, sweeter, and of course sweetest.
Out of 66 contestants of Miss International 2009, Latinas flavor seems to be the sweetest for our judges' taste as our Top 5 ladies are all Latinas, led by former Miss World 2008 semifinalist, Mexico in 1st place. Slovakia is the sweetest girl from Europe in 6th place while Philippines is the sweetest girl from Asia in 8th place. Sadly enough, once again, we don't have African flavor in our Leaderboard. But next week, hopefully, the girls from Africa may prove that they are worthy enough to be included in our list.
Stay tune for our second Leaderboard and find out which ladies remain sweet in our taste this Saturday!

Miss Earth 2009 Part 7 : Final Leaderboard
The final set of our Leaderboard is marked with the return of Philippines into Queen of Earth tier after moving down into one lower tier last week. Philippines impress us with a very strong performance during the final week, as she wins both Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown awards. A new entrant for this ultimate tier is Czech Republic, probably the best European delegate this year and winner of Miss Photogenic award, while Cuba and Venezuela remain as the Top 2 strongest girls in our scoreboard.
Other rising stars this week are Poland, now in Queen of Air tier, and newcomer Jamaica, now in Queen of Fire tier. On the other hand some other girls lose a glimpse of their spark and move down in the rank. Previously strong contender USA is now only in Queen of Air tier, while our rising star last week, Georgia, is sunk into Queen of Water tier.
Overall, European girls dominate the final Leaderboard, followed by the Americans, Asians, and Caribbeans. Sadly there is not a single African girl enlisted in our Leaderboard. In our opinion, the black beauties from Africa are simply overshadowed by their Caribbean counterpart. There is not much buzz about African beauties this year, with the exception of South Sudan, who captures everybody's atention thanks to her statuesque figure. Therefore they lose their spot in our Top 18 hottest list.
So this is it! The final Leaderboard ... check out the result of Miss Earth 2009 tonight and find out if our judges make the right choice!
